Services
For companies with high volume shipping, our service is all about :-
- Simplifying the process,
- Standardising the documentation,
- Summarising the transaction,
- Cost reduction by eliminating duplication of resources, and
- Maximising returns by using experts who know their trade.
To confirm this, the following diagram displays a typical laytime transaction for a single bulk material vessel loading several different cargoes at two ports for a single Buyer. It involves up to 18 different parties. The Buyer receives 5 different laytime calculations.
The diagram indicates where documents are generated but more importantly the inefficient communication chain where at each step, documents are checked and rechecked. Upon the Buyers receipt of documents, this first diagram displays the communication flow to negotiate or accept the calculations.
With D/D.I.S. involvement, our service is fully flexible to handle our clients needs as shown by the second diagram.
Over 23 million tonnes or 750 shipments have been processed since early 2003.
8 major coal mine’s have outsourced this service in Queensland and New South Wales through the ports of Newcastle, Gladstone and Dalrymple Bay. Referrals can be provided upon request.
Up to 80% of Despatch/Demurrage is confirmed or settled within 3 months
of Bill of Lading Date.
Our experience means we can pick up a Charter Party Agreement or Sales Contract and immediately start processing.
